BGI Steel has the capacity to supply over 2 million tons of hot rolled flat steel annually. We offer more than 300 steel grades to meet the specific performance requirements of a wide range of industrial, commercial, and household applications.

Our flat steel is used in everything from home appliances such as cookers and washing machines, to heavy equipment, nuclear infrastructure, pipes, barrels, and automotive and shipbuilding components.

Our flat steel is produced at strategic partner plants in the Middle East, equipped with state-of-the-art HRC production lines. These facilities feature cutting-edge Compact Strip Production (CSP) technology by SMS Demag and Flexible Thin Slab Casting and Rolling (fTSCR) by Danieli — ensuring both product consistency and production flexibility.

ULTRA-THIN GAUGES WITH UNMATCHED ACCURACY

Produced with precise dimensional accuracy and chemically consistent compositions, every coil of BGI wire rod is crafted using high-purity raw materials and controlled manufacturing processes. Thanks to advanced continuous casting technology, BGI is among the few global suppliers capable of producing hot rolled steel as thin as 1.0 mm.

We achieve tight thickness tolerances of +0.05/-0.15 mm for thin and ultra-thin gauges, providing greater surface area and longer length per ton — delivering added value, efficiency, and precision to our customers.
